Boredom Busters:
1.  Does someone in your neighborhood have a special day coming up this month?  Organize with neighbors and have a car parade.  Make posters or signs and drive by honking to celebrate the birthday, anniversary or whatever it is.
2.  Going on more walks these days?  Maybe consider taking a "garbage walk".  Wearing gloves, grab a plastic bag and pick up what garbage you see along the way.  A great way to help keep Algonquin clean!
3.  Enjoy a Nature Scavenger Hunt!  Grab a piece of paper and jot down the following items to look for as you are out in your neighborhood:
  • Pine cone
  • Spring flowers coming up
  • Rock
  • Sticks
  • Leaf or leaves
  • Robin
  • Squirrel
  • Pine needles
